Dave Elliott

Director, Financial Analysis

Dave Elliott has over two decades of financial modeling and decision-making experience and directs Techquity’s financial valuation and analysis efforts. In this role, Mr. Elliott has defined and codified core valuation and pricing methodologies for the acquisition and licensing of IP assets. This work includes substantial development of tools and infrastructure for structured market analysis, modeling and risk analysis.

Prior to joining Techquity, Mr. Elliott spent five years leading the valuation and analysis efforts at AT&T Knowledge Ventures. At Knowledge Ventures, Mr. Elliott implemented a market leading financial valuation framework and methodology for IP asset licensing. Mr. Elliott also has extensive experience in product profitability analysis, strategic marketing and product planning, and competitive analysis. Most notably, he provided the initial market segmentation that helped Dell Computers launch and grow its server and workstation divisions. Mr. Elliott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Ohio State University and holds an Advanced Marketing Research Certificate from the Burke Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.
